Kidambi Srikanth delivered a commanding performance as he defeated Taiwan’s, Kuo Kuan Lin, in the qualifying round of the Malaysia Masters 2025, held at Axiata Arena, Kuala Lumpur.

The former world number one, now fighting for a place in the main draw of the BWF Super 500 tournament, cruised through the match with a straight-game victory: 21-8, 21-13.

Clinical performance from the Indian ace

Though the game began on an even note, Srikanth quickly found his rhythm, capitalizing on defensive vulnerabilities from world number 86 Kuo. He recorded an impressive nine consecutive points, leading the first game interval at 11-2.

Following the break, Srikanth continued his domination, maintaining pressure and tempo that left his opponent unable to recover. The match concluded with a clean and confident win for the Indian star.
