South Korea Rages after Defeat by Indonesia U-17 National Team

The South Korea U-17 national team showed a strong reaction following their unexpected loss to Indonesia U-17 national team in the 2025 U-17 Asian Cup.

In their first Group C match, Nova Arianto’s squad managed to contain the 2023 U-17 Asian Cup runners-up — despite South Korea’s dominance with 68 percent possession and 21 shot attempts.

Indonesia’s winning goal came during injury time through Fabio Azka’s long throw-in situation that led to a penalty converted by Evandra Florasta.

Following this defeat, South Korea faced Afghanistan — the lowest FIFA-ranked team in Group C at position 160.
