South Africa Dominates, Crushes Mali 4-0 in Women’s Africa Cup

The South Africa women’s national team displayed their best performance by defeating Mali 4-0 in Oujda to secure the top position in Group C of the Women’s Africa Cup.

Lebohang Ramalepe opened the scoring for Banyana Banyana in the fifth minute — capitalizing on Jermaine Seoposenwe’s through pass. Refiloe Jane doubled the lead with a spectacular free kick into the corner of the net.

South Africa’s dominance continued in the second half when Hildah Magaia scored the third goal after receiving a pass from Karabo Dhlamini. Ronnel Donnelly completed the scoring fest by netting her first national team goal in the 79th minute.

In another Group C match, Ghana defeated Tanzania 4-1. This result allowed Mali to advance to the quarter-finals as one of the best third-placed teams alongside Senegal.
