Source Reports Ongoing Cash Flow Problems at OG

European esports giant OG is reportedly facing issues with unpaid salaries and bonuses for management and players for their Dota 2 division.

According to RDY.GG, members of the Dota 2 squad who competed at ESL Birmingham 2024 and the Dota 2 EWC 2024 are still waiting for their prize money. They are owed about $85,000 for their 4th place finish at ESL Birmingham 2024 and $100,000 for placing 9th-12th at EWC 2024.

The report states that prize money from these tournaments hasn’t gone directly to the players, but directly to the management level instead. Players and staff have reportedly been asking about the payments since last year, continuing even after new CEO Daniel Sanders joined, but haven’t received satisfactory answers.

They also received a concerning response suggesting OG is experiencing cash flow problems, with the explanation given was that the organization’s revenue is being used for operational expenses. So far, other OG leaders like Johan “n0tail” Sundstein and Sebastien “Ceb” Debs haven’t publicly addressed the issue.

CEO Sanders initially promised payment once the situation improved and the promise remains unfulfilled. He later changed the timeline, first saying payment would come within 60-90 days, and now reportedly delaying it until at least the trimester of 2025.
