Sjoerd Woudenberg Evaluates Six U-23 Goalkeepers Positively

Indonesia U-23 national team goalkeeper coach Sjoerd Woudenberg provides positive evaluation of the ongoing goalkeeper selection process at Madya Stadium, Senayan — as reported by BolaSport.com via Indonesia National Team Instagram.

In the initial phase of the training camp, six young talents were called up to compete for the goalkeeper position:

• Cahya Supriyadi
• Daffa Fasya
• Sheva Sanggasi
• Husna Al Malik
• Erlangga Setyo

“In my opinion, the camp has been going very well so far,” stated Woudenberg.

“We started with six goalkeepers because we wanted to see all goalkeepers directly and assess them through their training methods and help their development,” he added.

Besides the main task of stopping opponent shots, the Dutch coach also emphasizes the goalkeeper’s role — in building attacks from the defensive line.
