Six Liga 1 Clubs Pass Professional Licensing Without Conditions

Six Clubs Meet Licensing Standards Without Conditions

According to Bolasport.com, Ferry Paulus, President Director of PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB), confirmed that six Liga 1 clubs have successfully passed the professional licensing process without any conditions.

The six clubs are:

  • PSS Sleman

  • Borneo FC

  • Persib Bandung

  • Persita Tangerang

  • Persik Kediri

  • Dewa United

Key Licensing Assessment Criteria

The evaluation process covers five critical areas:
  • Sporting Criteria

  • Infrastructure Criteria

  • Personnel and Administrative Criteria

  • Legal Criteria

  • Financial Criteria

Clubs meeting these standards unconditionally are eligible to participate in AFC Champions League Two and AFC Champions League Elite for the 2025–2026 season.

Pathway to AFC Competitions

Additionally, all Liga 1 clubs that fulfill licensing requirements may compete in the AFC Challenge League, with Indonesia’s final representatives determined by the end-of-season standings and the country’s allocated AFC quota.
