Six Liga 1 Clubs Pass AFC Professional Licensing Without Conditions

PT LIB President Director Ferry Paulus announced the results of the AFC professional club licensing process for the 2024-2025 Liga 1 season.

PSS Sleman, Borneo FC, Persib Bandung, Persita Tangerang, Persik Kediri, and Dewa United were the six clubs that passed the licensing process.

“Thank God, out of 18 Liga 1 clubs, 6 clubs have passed the ACL licensing: PSS Sleman, Borneo FC, Persita Tangerang, Persib Bandung, Persik Kediri, and Dewa United,” stated Ferry Paulus.

The evaluation process, which began last November, covered five main aspects: sporting, infrastructure, personnel and administration, legal, and financial. Twelve other clubs received licenses with specific conditions.

This achievement marks a historic moment for PSS Sleman — the first time the club has successfully passed the AFC licensing process without conditions since its establishment.
