Sir David Beckham and Sir Gareth Southgate — the latest recipients of knighthoods from King Charles — attended the Wimbledon opening day in Centre Court’s Royal Box.

Sandra Beckham — the mother of former England captain — accompanied her son who was wearing an arm support. England cricket player Stuart Broad and singer Mollie King were also present at the same venue.

“I had surgery a few days ago,” Beckham told DAZN. “I broke my arm playing for England in South Africa 23 years ago. There was a screw that needed removal… Everything is fine. I should be able to remove this support in two days.”

Beckham’s Wimbledon appearance came just hours after he watched Inter Miami lose 0-4 to Paris Saint-Germain in Atlanta.
