Silva Mexes strengthens Thailand U-17 national team at Asian Cup 2025

The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) has secured a new addition to their U-17 national team for the 2025 Asian Cup taking place in Saudi Arabia.

Silva Mexes — a 15-year-old player of Thai-English descent — has joined Jadet Melaarp’s squad after developing his skills at the Manchester United academy.

The young War Elephants — who finished as runners-up in last year’s ASEAN U-16 Cup — have gained quality reinforcement with the arrival of this March 15, 2010-born player.

Mexes, who joined Manchester United’s academy about nine months ago from Ipswich Town, comes from a youth development system that has produced numerous stars.
