The Korea Football Association has announced the completion of its 55th Executive Board members at the delegation congress held 5 days ago.

KFA President Chung Mong-kyu named Kim Seung-hee as the new Executive Director, alongside the induction of 27 new board members — including vice presidents, committee chairs, and council representatives.

Notably, two prominent Southeast Asian coaching figures were appointed to strategic roles:

  • Shin Tae-yong — former head coach of Indonesia’s national team — was assigned as External Cooperation Envoy.
  • Park Hang-seo — ex-manager of Vietnam’s national team — will contribute to South Korea’s national team development programs.

The revamped executive board blends diverse expertise, featuring former players, seasoned coaches, and academics. Five vice presidential roles will be held by individuals representing these varied backgrounds.
