Shin Tae-yong Comments on Indonesia U-17’s Victory over South Korea

Coach Shin Tae-yong has responded to Indonesia U-17 national team’s victory over South Korea with a 1-0 score in their Group C opening match of the 2025 AFC U-17 Cup.

Indonesia U-17 team managed to record a surprising result – defeating the strong South Korean side thanks to a lone goal from Evandra Florasta.

Head coach Nova Arianto – who served as Shin Tae-yong’s assistant for five years with the senior national team – implemented the 3-4-3 formation identical to his mentor’s playing style.

The former Persib Bandung player proved his capabilities by adopting the right strategy – leading Indonesia to secure three crucial points in their opening match.
