Shin Tae-yong Beri Pandangan Jelang Timnas Hadapi Asia Barat

Shin Tae-yong, the former coach of the Indonesia national football team, has shared crucial insights regarding the team’s preparations for facing Middle Eastern teams in the fourth round of 2026 World Cup qualification in Asia.

Indonesia, now coached by Patrick Kluivert, secured a spot in the fourth round despite a heavy 0-6 defeat to Japan in Suita yesterday. Finishing fourth in Group C was enough to earn them a ticket to the next phase.

In an interview posted on Instagram through a collaboration between his former interpreter Jeong Seok-seo and Shin Tae-yong’s personal account, the South Korean coach emphasized the importance of thorough evaluation.

“First and foremost, starting from today’s match against Japan. Since Japan is the best team in Asia, we need to study and prepare how to face such strong teams so we can perform well,” said Shin Tae-yong.
