Team Prepares for Busy 2025 Drift Calendar

Seven Speed Motorsport, the racing team owned by Al Ghazali — son of renowned Indonesian musician Ahmad Dhani — is gearing up for an exciting 2025 season with major updates to its lineup and vehicle setup.

The team will compete in both the Indonesian Drift Series and D1 Grand Prix Indonesia, with plans to expand their presence in other Southeast Asian motorsport competitions.

Ricko Nugraha Joins as Senior Drifter

A key highlight for the upcoming season is the recruitment of senior drifter Ricko Nugraha, a Bandung native with extensive experience in the local drift scene. Ricko will join forces with Al Ghazali and Davin Augusta, forming a new trio for Seven Speed Motorsport.

“In 2025, we have Ricko as our new drifter. Ricko is more senior than me and Davin, so he can help Seven Speed Motorsport achieve our desired targets,” said team owner Al Ghazali.

Car and Engine Updates Underway

In preparation for the new season, Seven Speed Motorsport is also implementing upgrades to its car and engine setups — particularly the vehicle driven by Al Ghazali. These technical improvements are aimed at boosting competitiveness across all events in the team’s 2025 racing calendar.
