Seven Indonesian Representatives Advance to Taipei Open 2025 Round of 16

According to matches at Taipei Arena, Taiwan, seven out of nine Indonesian representatives successfully advanced to the round of 16 at Taipei Open 2025.

Men’s doubles pair Rahmat Hidayat/Yeremia Erich Yoche Yacob Rambitan — who closed today’s matches for Indonesia — won dramatically against Malaysian pair Chia Weijie/Lwi Sheng Hao through three games.

In the first game, Rahmat/Yeremia led with a score of 11-6 at the interval — but Malaysia managed to equalize at 13-13. The Indonesian pair pulled away to 18-14, however, the opponents managed to level the score up to 21-21.

Luck favored Rahmat/Yeremia when the opponents’ hard shot hit the net — giving two winning points that determined the first game result for Indonesia.
