Serious injury: Achmad Jufriyanto suffers broken left ribs

Achmad Jufriyanto suffered a serious injury during Persib Bandung’s match against Port FC in the opening game of the 2025 President’s Cup — a game that ended in a 0-2 defeat for the visitors from Thailand.

The senior defender of Maung Bandung was forced to leave the field in the 6th minute after colliding with Brayan Vargas — his position was then taken by Febri Hariyadi.

Persib’s team doctor, Wira Prasetya, confirmed that Jufriyanto suffered two broken left ribs — the player was immediately rushed to the hospital by ambulance after the incident.
