According to Bolasport.com, Serie A clubs have begun preparations for the 2025-2026 season — the competition will start on August 23 with opening matches Genoa vs Lecce and Sassuolo vs Napoli.

Andrea Pinamonti scored the first preseason goal as Sassuolo defeated Real Vicenza 5-0 on Tuesday (15/7) — marking the beginning of new season preparation matches.

Genoa and Verona also recorded decisive victories against lower division teams the following day — demonstrating their readiness for the competitive season.

AC Milan under Massimiliano Allegri has arranged a preseason schedule including tours to several countries — starting with a match against Arsenal at Singapore’s National Stadium on July 23 as part of the Singapore Festival of Football.
