Septian David officially joins Malut United with two-year contract

Septian David has officially joined Malut United for the 2025/2026 Liga 1 season — both parties have agreed to a two-year contract.

The 28-year-old midfielder will join Laskar Kie Raha after completing his duties with Indonesia All Star in the 2025 President’s Cup — last season he played for PSIS Semarang with 31 appearances, five goals, and three assists.

Malut United’s Chief Operating Officer, Willem D. Nanlohy expressed his expectations for the new recruit:

“We hope Septian’s joining will add options in midfield, considering Malut United will participate in two competitions next season”

Septian David, who also has 10 caps with the Indonesian national team, revealed his enthusiasm:

“Alhamdulillah, I feel happy to join Malut United. This team is one of the strongest in Liga 1 and serious for next season. Without thinking too long, I immediately accepted Malut’s offer”

The creative midfielder targets high achievements with his new club — he is determined to lead Malut United, based at Gelora Kie Raha Stadium, to the Liga 1 championship title.
