Semen Padang retains 12 players for next Liga 1 season

According to Liga Indonesia Baru, Semen Padang has confirmed contract extensions for 12 of their players ahead of Liga 1 2025-2026 — nine of whom are local players.

The Padang-based team secured their position in Liga 1 after finishing 13th with 36 points — just two points above the relegation zone in the 2024-2025 season.

Among the players receiving contract extensions are two goalkeepers — Alekvan Ikram Al Gifari and Teguh Amiruddin, along with two defenders Alekvan Djin and Zidane Afandi.
