In a surprising move, Mouz Dota captain Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp has hinted at his future with the team.

Via his personal social media, Seleri revealed he might become an analyst for The International 2025 in September and also offered to stand-in for other teams at major tournaments before TI starts.

This decision likely stems from his team’s disappointment after failing to qualify for TI 2025 through the WEU qualifier, which were ultimately won by Navi Junior and Nigma Galaxy. Mouz had an early exit as they dropped the first round of the lower bracket against Virtus.pro.

I’m doing very good on a personal level, hope everyone also has a good summer! On a note for TI, if someone ends up needing a stand-in, I can get there in 4.5 hours. Might also be interested in doing some analysis if they would like to have me.

Feel free to contact me for anything related TI, but also the next season.”

Seleri’s statement has sparked major discussion within the Dota 2 community, given the senior Dutch player was originally brought as the brain and the star of Mouz squad.

Should Seleri leave, Mouz would retain only Abed “Abed” Yusop as their sole highly skilled and experienced player. Finding a support player of Seleri’s caliber during the current, highly competitive mid-season transfer window would likely difficult for any team.
