A surprising announcement has emerged from the Mouz camp, as they have brought Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp, the former captain of Gaimin Gladiators. The 25-year-old professional Dota 2 player will be playing under the guidance of head coach Moza “immortalFaith” Daniel, who was at the helm for GG in 2022.

About three weeks ago, Seleri unexpectedly parted ways with GG without giving a reason. Initially rumored to be taking a break from competitive play, he has now become the new captain for Mouz and has been entrusted with the team’s new plan. So far, Mouz only got Seleri and Nikko “force” Bilocura in the squad.

Although he may not have received as much attention as his former teammates in GG, Seleri is highly respected by the Dota community and professional players for his intelligence as a support player. Many believe that Seleri’s role had a greater impact on GG’s gameplay than Quinn “Quinn” Callahan or Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard.

During his stint in GG, the Dutch won several major competitions, including the Dota 2 Riyadh Masters 2022, the Major series in 2023, and finished as runner-up in The International 2023 and 2024. It will be interesting to see what kind of stack he will make to elevate Mouz to a higher level.
