Second season of Indonesian Children’s League ready with new format

The second season of Indonesian Children’s League — a prestigious youth football competition organized by Bola Indonesia Mandiri and Lpduk Inaspro Kemenpora — is set to commence in Jakarta.

Jalu, CEO of Bola Indonesia Mandiri and event organizer, revealed that this year’s competition format will differ from the previous one. “Yes, we made it different this year to be more competitive. I also hope this format will help discover new young talents for Indonesian football,” he stated.

The tournament scheduled for July 1-4, 2025 at PSF Pancoran Jakarta — will feature 96 teams from various regions in Indonesia with total 1395 young players and 192 team officials. The new Champions League system format will be implemented with one standings table to determine the top 8 teams advancing to finals.

Participants will compete for total prize money of 65 million rupiah and 32 trophies across various categories. The opening ceremony is scheduled to be attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports and PSSI Chairman.

“I would like to express my gratitude to all participants who have come to Jakarta to join the Indonesian Children’s League, and to all supporters who have supported this event,” added Jalu.
