Sean Gelael finishes ninth at 6 Hours of Sao Paulo

Sean Gelael and United Autosports team concluded the 6 Hours of Sao Paulo race in Brazil with a disappointing result — finishing in ninth position and collecting only two points.

Gelael’s teammate, Darren Leung, started the race impressively — moving up from fifth to second position at the start, though later settling in fifth position about 12 seconds behind the race leader.

Problems emerged after the first pit stop — low tire pressure experienced for nine laps resulted in a team penalty. The penalty had to be served by Sean Gelael as Leung’s driving stint had concluded.
