Satwiksairaj/Chirag Eliminate Leo/Bagas at Indonesia Open

India’s men’s doubles pair, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty, defeated Indonesia’s Leo Rolly Carnando/Bagas Maulana in the round of 32 at the 2025 Indonesia Open, held at Istora Senayan, Jakarta.

The 2022 Asian Games champions clinched victory in a tight rubber game match that lasted 67 minutes — ending with a score of 18-21, 21-18, 21-14.

“We played simple to beat them,” said Satwiksairaj Rankireddy after the match.

This loss for the world number 10 men’s doubles opens the door for Malaysia, currently coached by Herry Iman Pierngadi — especially if Aaron Chia/Soh Wooi Yik advance to the next round.
