Satria Muda Jakarta strengthens squad ahead of IBL 2025 playoffs

Basketball team Satria Muda Jakarta — holder of 12 IBL championship titles — is ready to face the IBL 2025 playoff challenge after finishing fourth in regular season standings.

Coach Youbel Sondakh expressed his team’s readiness during a press conference at Pertamina Arena, Simprug, Jakarta.

“This season has been particularly challenging for us. However, as usual, we’ve prepared for playoffs and all our weapons are now in place,” stated Youbel Sondakh.

“We have coaching staff, foreign players, reinforcements and I’m quite optimistic about our playoff progress this year,” he added.

To strengthen the team for playoffs, Satria Muda Jakarta has recruited three new foreign players:

• Shannon Evans
• Artem Pustovyi
