Satoru Mochizuki targets Group D victory for Indonesia Women’s National Team in Asian Cup

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesia Women’s National Team coach Satoru Mochizuki has set a target for his team to win Group D in the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers.

The competition, which will take place at Indomilk Arena Stadium, Tangerang — will see Indonesia compete against three other nations in Group D:

• Taiwan
• Kyrgyzstan
• Pakistan

Satoru Mochizuki — who led Japan to victory in the 2011 Women’s World Cup — admits having limited information about the opponents’ strengths. The Indonesia Women’s National Team has never faced Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan before.

Mochizuki’s team, featuring Claudia Scheunemann, will begin their campaign against Kyrgyzstan in late June next year, followed by other matches through early July.
