Satoru Mochizuki impressed with diaspora players in women’s national team

Satoru Mochizuki expressed his admiration for the performance of four new diaspora players in Indonesia women’s national team during the 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualification match at Indomilk Arena, Tangerang.

In the match against Kyrgyzstan that ended in a 1-0 victory — the Japanese coach fielded Iris de Rouw, Isa Warps, Emily Nahon, and Felicia de Zeeuw as his primary choices.

Isa Warps — despite not playing the full 90 minutes — managed to become the hero of victory by scoring the lone goal for Indonesia women’s national team.

“The four new players have already delivered their best performance,” said Mochizuki.
