Satoru Mochizuki appointed as technical advisor for Indonesia women’s national team

PSSI Executive Committee member Vivin Cahyani announced structural changes in the Indonesia women’s national team coaching staff — Satoru Mochizuki has been appointed to a new position as technical advisor.

After 17 months serving as head coach of Garuda Pertiwi, Mochizuki — who has experience as assistant coach of Japan women’s national team — will now occupy a position equivalent to Jordi Cruyff in the men’s team.

During his leadership, Mochizuki has managed various age groups in several major tournaments:

  • 2024 AFC U-17 Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers
  • 2024 AFF Women’s Cup
  • 2026 AFC Women’s Asian Cup Qualifiers

“Coach Mochizuki has the experience and track record that we value and trust can contribute more to building sustainable coaching patterns and playing systems,” stated Vivin Cahyani.
