Sanz Shuts Down Skylar’s Rumored Move to Onic ID

Onic ID‘s Gilang “Sanz” has responded to rumors about the transfer of Schevenko “Skylar” Tendean, who currently plays for rival team RRQ Hoshi.

Ahead of MPL ID Season 15, Skylar decided to step back as he made way for promotee Muhammad “Toyy” Rizky. The new guy ended the season with impressive individual performances, helping his team qualify for next month’s MSC x EWC 2025 in Saudi Arabia.

This situation raised questions among fans about Skylar’s place in RRQ’s main roster. Several content creators fueled speculation with cryptic comments, mostly hinting that Skylar would be released to a rival team competing in the upcoming MSC x EWC.

Amid these rumors, Onic ID was mentioned as a team interested in signing Skylar for international tournament depth. Sanz then quickly dismissed this during a livestream, stating that Onic’s management has not discussed any possibility to sign the popular gold laner.

He further emphasized that the Yellow Porcupines already have a strong gold lane duo in Calvin “CW” Winata and Clayton “Savero” Adrielo – the latter recently earning an outstanding personal achievement as an MPL ID debutant. Therefore, he feels no urgency to adjust their roster at the moment.

ONIC ID and RRQ Hoshi will continue their rivalry as MPL ID representatives at the upcoming MSC x EWC 2025.
