According to Bolasport.com, William Saliba made a crucial mistake that cost Arsenal a vital win in the London Derby against Crystal Palace at Emirates Stadium — the 2-2 draw gives Liverpool a clearer path toward securing the Premier League title earlier.

Jakub Kiwior opened the scoring for Arsenal in the third minute with a powerful header, but former Palace academy player Eberechi Eze equalized in the 27th minute. Leandro Trossard restored Arsenal’s lead before halftime, only for Saliba’s late error to allow Jean-Philippe Mateta to score a chipped equalizer and level the match at 2-2.

Arsenal now holds 67 points from 34 matches in the 2024-2025 Premier League season — this draw complicates their pursuit of Liverpool, who remain top of the table.

Mikel Arteta’s squad must win all their remaining matches and hope for a slip-up from Liverpool, who currently hold a narrow lead. With the season nearing its end, the pressure on the title race has reached a boiling point.
