Sabar/Reza Advance to Singapore Open 2025 Last 16

According to Bolasport.com, Indonesian pair Sabar Karyaman Gutama/Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani secured a spot in the round of 16 at the Singapore Open 2025 after defeating Japan’s Hidori Midorikawa/Kyohei Yamashita.

Playing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Wednesday (28/5), the Indonesian duo claimed a straight-game victory with scores of 21-15, 21-16 — becoming Indonesia’s second pair to reach the next round.

Early in the match, both sides traded points closely, with the score tied at 6-6. Reza played aggressively at the front court, helping push the lead to 8-6, followed by a cross-court shot from Sabar that extended it to 9-6.

Although the Japanese pair narrowed the gap to 9-10 after trailing 6-10, the momentum wasn’t enough to turn the tide, and the match ended in a solid win for the Indonesian team.
