Sabar Karyaman and Moh Reza Fail to Reach Thailand Open Semis

Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani failed to advance to the semifinals of the Thailand Open 2025 after being defeated by the home favorites and fifth seeds, Kittinupong Kedren/Dechapol Puavaranukroh, in the quarterfinal match.

The Indonesian independent men’s doubles pair — coached by Hendra Setiawan — struggled from the start of the match. They quickly fell behind 4-7 and had to chase the score until the first game interval at 7-11.

The support from the home crowd boosted Kedren/Puavaranukroh’s confidence, combined with sharp attacks that made it difficult for Sabar/Reza to find openings in their opponents’ play.
