In regard to the recent news about S8UL Esports’ slot in MSC x EWC 2025, CEO Aryan Singh has responded to calm tensions between the community and the tournament organizer.

The fiery drama ensued following Moonton’s decision to boot the team out of MSC x EWC 2025. This action resulted from two of its members, Michael “MobaZane” Cosgun and Jang “Hoon” Seong-hun, who allegedly breaching their official partnership contract, instantly voiding their eligibility.

Moonton accused both players of promoting the rival game Honor of Kings on June 27th and 28th without coordinating with team management, which leading to miscommunication. However, Zane, Hoon, and their teammates disputed the accusation and argued the incident shouldn’t be an issue as it occurred outside the contract’s specified dates.

S8UL members now declare their involvement in MLBB esports is over and plan to step away soon. Regarding this, Aryan Singh confirmed that his players’ decisions would not affect S8UL’s relationship with Moonton.

“The publisher (Moonton) is very happy with S8UL and soon you’ll get to see us doing great things together. We will bounce back stronger. Please keep supporting us.”

S8UL hasn’t revealed future plans for MLBB competitions, beyond awaiting confirmation on upcoming squad changes. Their tournament slot will be taken by Area 77, the runners-up of NACT Spring 2025.
