Ruben Amorim Ready to Leave Manchester United Without Pay

Citing Bolasport.com, Ruben Amorim expressed his readiness to leave Manchester United without compensation if he is no longer wanted by the club’s management and fans.

This statement came after a 0-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the 2024-2025 Europa League final held at San Mames Barria Stadium, Bilbao — with a lone goal from Brennan Johnson just before halftime deciding the outcome.

“If the board and the fans feel that I am not the right person, I will leave the next day without discussing compensation. But I will not stop. I truly believe in my abilities and my work,” said Amorim.

The former Sporting Lisbon coach, who replaced Erik ten Hag last November, faces heavy pressure — as Manchester United undergoes its worst season since their relegation in 1974.
