Ruben Amorim Drops Garnacho After Europa League Final

According to Bolasport.com, Manchester United head coach Ruben Amorim has made a firm decision to drop Alejandro Garnacho from the squad.

Tensions reached a boiling point following Manchester United’s loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the 2024–2025 UEFA Europa League Final, held at San Mames seven days ago.

Garnacho, who only played 20 minutes as a substitute, expressed his frustration after the match.

“I played every round until the final, I helped the team. Then I only got 20 minutes… I don’t know. The match mattered, but so did the season,” said the Argentina national team winger.
