The MLBB Pro League Indonesia Season 15 is set to resume its 4th week of group stage matches this Friday (April 18). Undoubtedly, one of the most highly anticipated clashes will be the classic derby between RRQ and Evos, set to take place at XO Hall in Jakarta.

Scheduled for the second day of Week 4 on Saturday (April 19), the match is expected to be fiercely competitive, with both teams currently dominating the upper ranks. RRQ sits atop the standings, closely trailed by Evos in second place, separated by just a single victory.

Given their current form, this showdown is certain to captivate audiences both within and beyond Indonesia. After all, RRQ and Evos have long served as benchmarks for players in international MLBB professional circuits, cementing their status as role models.

This derby also marks a revival of their historic rivalry after a noticeable decline in intensity over recent seasons. Despite maintaining strong viewership, the Indonesian MLBB community has felt that the competitive quality between the two teams had diminished.

Prior to the arrival of head coach Alfi “Khezcute” Nelphyana, RRQ consistently placed between 4th and 6th in the past year. Meanwhile, their arch rivals, Evos, faced similar struggles, even failing to qualify for playoffs in the previous season.

This time around, both squads have shown remarkable improvement following major overhauls to their core rosters. Given the impressive viewership numbers from earlier matches, this clash has the potential to set new records for the tournament, particularly on YouTube and TikTok.

In the previous week, MPL ID already set a new viewership record of 1,841,268 spectators (per Esports Charts). Notably, this was achieved during RRQ’s match against Alter Ego—a fixture not traditionally associated with intense rivalry, further heightening expectations for the upcoming RRQ vs. Evos match up.
