RRQ Jemkin Awarded MVP of VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1

RRQ Valorant’s duelist Maksim “Jemkin” Batorov earned the MVP award following the Grand Finale of VCT Pacific 2025: Stage 1, which concluded last Sunday (11/5).

Showcasing exceptional composure under pressure, Jemkin proved pivotal to RRQ’s strategy in overcoming rivals during critical matches. His standout performances against international powerhouses like Paper Rex and Gen.G—who fell short in the final—cemented his reputation, with even opponents acknowledging the young Russian’s skill.

Statistically, Jemkin’s MVP title is well-deserved. According to VLR.GG, he dominated the leaderboard with a 1.30 K/D ratio, 161.3 ADR and 253.9 ACS across 573 rounds played. Only a handful of players, such as Gen.G’s Kim “t3xture” Na-ra and DRX’s Cho “Flashback” Min-hyuk, came close to matching these numbers.

Additionally, RRQ’s other import, Ngô “crazyguy” Công Anh, has also been praised as instrumental. While not known for flashy mechanics, the ex-Bleed Esports star brings stability to his team that often underestimated by viewers.

With both players in top form, the Indonesian King is poised to be a serious contender at the upcoming Masters Toronto.
