RRQ Hoshi Faces Onic ID in Their First Playoff Clash in 3 Years

RRQ Hoshi set to face Onic ID in the MPL ID Season 15 Upper Bracket Finals tomorrow (13/06), after taking down Alter Ego 3-1 this evening.

Dubbed The Royal Derby, this matchup is the top entertainment MPL ID fans have been waiting for – nothing beats the excitement of this classic rivalry.

What makes it even more special is the fact that they played twice during the Regular Season, with tomorrow marking their first playoff clash in roughly three years or four seasons.

The last time these two locked horn was the Season 10 Finals. Since then, from Season 11 to 14, they haven’t met in the playoffs. And during these periods, Onic surpassed RRQ’s championship tally and made history by winning a quadruple.

Given their current forms, RRQ might seem slightly favored due to their roster. However, no one following Onic will underestimate the Yellow Porcupine, especially with the return of their legendary man, Paul “Yeb” Denver, at the helm.
