Portugal booked their place in the UEFA Nations League 2024–2025 semifinals after an impressive 5-2 win against Denmark at Estadio Jose Alvalade.

Trailing 1-0 on aggregate from the first leg, Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates staged a remarkable comeback under Roberto Martinez’s leadership. Francisco Trincao was the standout performer, scoring twice. Ronaldo and Goncalo Ramos also found the net, while Portugal benefited from Joachim Andersen’s own goal.

Denmark responded with goals from Rasmus Kristensen and Christian Eriksen but couldn’t prevent the defeat.
