Robert Kubica achieves historic victory at Le Mans 24 Hours

Robert Kubica achieved his career pinnacle by winning the Le Mans 24 Hours alongside teammates Phil Hanson and Yifei Ye in the #83 Ferrari Hypercar.

This victory marks a special moment for the Polish driver — whose career was disrupted by a serious rally accident about 14 years ago. Interestingly, this success coincided with the Canadian Grand Prix weekend — the same circuit where he claimed his first and only Formula 1 victory.

“I’m very happy for him. He’s a legend of our sport, and now he’s even more after winning Le Mans,” stated Fernando Alonso, two-time Le Mans winner.

“What he’s doing is mega. To win in Le Mans in this situation, to lead the car, to push the team — it’s something that I can’t imagine,” praised Frederic Vasseur, his former boss at Alfa Romeo.
