Rinov Rivaldy & Gloria Widjaja Lose in Sudirman Cup 2025

Mixed doubles pair Rinov Rivaldy and Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja failed to secure an opening point for Indonesia in the final match of Group D Sudirman Cup 2025 at the Xiamen Fenghuang Gymnasium, China.

The Indonesian duo had to concede to the Denmark pair, Jesper Toft and Amalie Magelund, with a score of 20-22, 23-21, 16-21 in a 73-minute battle.

“We lost many points at the start of the game, we couldn’t find any openings to attack the opponents,” said Rinov after the match.

This defeat leaves Indonesia trailing 0-1 behind Denmark in the crucial Group D clash, where the Danish pair, ranked 7th in the world, performed solidly from the start of the match.
