Rinov/Pitha Dominate First Game Against Taiwanese Pair at Asian Championships

Indonesian mixed doubles pair, Rinov Rivaldy/Pitha Haningtyas Mentari, delivered an impressive performance against Yang Po Hsuan/Hu Ling Fang from Taiwan at the Ningbo Olympic Sports Center, China.

Despite losing to the same pair at last year’s Indonesia Open — Rinov/Pitha immediately showed high determination from the start by taking a 4-1 lead.

The Indonesian pair maintained their advantage until the first game interval with a score of 11-8 — though they faced fierce resistance when Yang/Hu narrowed the gap to 3-4.

After the break, Rinov/Pitha showed increasing dominance with a 14-10 lead that later widened to 16-11. The 2017 Junior World Champions closed the first game decisively — scoring three consecutive points en route to a 21-12 victory.
