Richie ready to face Malaysian singles player in Group B decider

Richie, currently ranked second in BWF junior men’s singles below Ubed, has expressed his readiness to face Malaysia in the Group B deciding match.

Indonesia’s victory over Singapore with a score of 110-66 — has secured the team’s spot in the quarter-finals. Richie’s position as the second-best singles player in Indonesia’s junior squad opens up the possibility for him to appear in this crucial match.

Despite never having met Malaysian players — Kong Wei Xiang and Boon Le Lim — Richie shows a professional attitude in facing this challenge.

“I’ve never had experience meeting (Malaysian singles players) but all opponents are the same, I must remain vigilant. Need to stay focused and give my best,” stated Richie.
