Ricardo Salampessy gets full freedom to compose Persipura squad

Ricardo Salampessy, Persipura Jayapura’s coach, expressed his satisfaction with the freedom given by management in forming the squad for League 2 2025/2026 — this reflects the complete trust from manager Owen Rahadiyan.

The planned team composition consists of 35 players — three of them being foreign players, while the rest are native Papuan talents.

“Mr. Owen fully supports me. Player activities are purely based on last season’s results and current team needs. I’m grateful to be able to work freely,” said Salampessy.

This decision aligns with Persipura management’s vision of developing football potential in the Land of Birds of Paradise.
