Renato Gaucho reveals reasons for Fluminense’s loss to Chelsea

According to A Bola, Renato Gaucho analyzed Fluminense’s 0-2 loss to Chelsea in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup semifinal at MetLife Stadium.

Joao Pedro proved to be the difference maker in the match — scoring twice for Chelsea in the 18th and 56th minutes.

“We return home with our heads held high after everything we did in the Club World Cup. We knew this would be a difficult match against a very quality team,” said Gaucho.

“We tried, but we conceded the first goal. They scored the second, and that made them comfortable,” added the Fluminense coach.
