Indonesian mixed doubles pair Rehan Naufal Kusharjanto/Gloria Emanuelle Widjaja delivered a dominant performance to defeat Singapore’s Terry Hee/Jin Yu Jia in the Singapore Open 2025.

The still-developing chemistry between Hee and Jin gave Rehan/Gloria opportunities to launch consistent attacks — with the Indonesian pair taking a strong early lead at 4-0, 8-2, and 15-4.

Before teaming up with Jin Yu Jia, Terry Hee partnered with Jessica Tan Wei Han, earning:

A hamstring injury to Jessica Tan led to the formation of the new Hee/Jin duo about six months ago. Despite reaching the final of the Odisha Masters, the pair has struggled to find consistent form.

Rehan/Gloria closed the match convincingly at 20-9 with a cross-court shot beyond Jin Yu Jia’s reach. The win adds to Indonesia’s representation in the next round, alongside Jonatan Christie, who earlier defeated Ireland’s Nhat Nguyen.
