Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks wrapped up their 2024-2025 Korean Volleyball League regular season with a 2-3 loss (20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 17-25, 8-15) against Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi-Pass at Chungmu Gymnasium.

Megawati Pertiwi delivered a standout performance, scoring 38 points — but it wasn’t enough to secure victory for her team. Meanwhile, captain and setter Yeum Hye-seon reached a historic milestone, becoming the first player in league history to record 16,000 sets.

Hi-Pass, who finished fifth with 17 wins and 19 losses — mounted a strong comeback after trailing in the second and third sets to claim the win.

“The players worked hard throughout the regular season. Thanks to fan support, we made it to playoffs and need to prepare well,” said Red Sparks coach Koh Hee-jin.
