Daejeon JungKwanJang Red Sparks suffered a hard-fought 2-3 defeat (20-25, 25-19, 25-19, 17-25, 8-15) against Gimcheon Korea Expressway Hi-Pass in their final regular season match of the Korean Volleyball League, as reported by TheSpike.

Coach Ko Hee-jin now faces a major challenge — three key players are unavailable ahead of the playoffs, scheduled to begin in less than a week. Despite their struggles, the Red Sparks secured third place in the standings, matching their finish from last season.

Players Absent from the Match:

* Vanja Bukilic
* Park Eun-jin
* Noh Ran

“Noh Ran has a minor injury, so Choi Hyo-seo played to adjust to the situation,” said Ko Hee-jin after the match.

Without these three key players, the Red Sparks struggled to develop their game against Hi-Pass — raising concerns ahead of the playoffs.

With limited time for adjustments, the team will need to regroup quickly and find solutions to remain competitive in the postseason.
