Red Bull prepares final 2025 upgrades for Austria and Silverstone

According to Red Bull advisor, Helmut Marko, the team will introduce their latest upgrades at this weekend’s Austrian GP — which will be further refined for the Silverstone race.

“We are getting an update for Austria that will be refined again for Silverstone,” Marko told Kleine Zeitung. “But if that doesn’t work either, then it will be difficult in the world championship.”

The team has gradually introduced revisions to the floor, sidepods, and front wing during the Miami, Imola, and Barcelona races. These upcoming upgrades are expected to be Red Bull’s final development for the 2025 season before focusing on next year’s new regulations.

  • New parts production time
  • Cost cap limitations
  • Resource allocation
  • Wind tunnel usage

Marko acknowledged Red Bull currently trails McLaren by about three-tenths of a second per lap — with a much smaller working window making the situation more challenging. However, he remains optimistic about the Red Bull Ring track suiting the team, noting that Max Verstappen has won there five times.
