Real Madrid Targeting Nico Williams for €58 Million

According to Fabrizio Romano, Real Madrid is preparing a major move to sign Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao by triggering his €58 million release clause.

The 22-year-old winger, younger brother of Inaki Williams, has impressed with both Athletic Bilbao and the Spain national football team at Euro 2024.

Los Blancos view Williams’ pace and creativity as valuable assets for their attack next season. The €58 million clause — approximately Rp1.07 trillion — is considered affordable given the potential of the young Spanish talent.

Interestingly, Williams was previously targeted by Barcelona, but Real Madrid now appears to be leading the race for his signature.
