Real Madrid Siap Rombak Skuad Jelang Piala Dunia Klub

Florentino Perez — president of Real Madrid — is preparing a major squad overhaul ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, which will be held in the United States.

This prestigious tournament will take place from June 15 to July 13, marking the first edition under the new format that features 32 teams from various confederations.

Real Madrid sees the need to strengthen their squad after a disappointing 2024–2025 season. Despite winning the Intercontinental Cup and the UEFA Super Cup, they failed to defend their titles in La Liga and the Champions League.

The disappointment deepened with defeats to arch-rivals Barcelona in two domestic finals — the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup.

As an initial step, Real Madrid has already signed two new players. This move is part of the club’s strategy to become the first champion under the revamped Club World Cup format.
